If you play a episode or movie and there is more than one file you get to choose witch file you want to play. At the moment the file info consists only of the quality (720p/ 1080p) and the bitrate. It would be nice to get (at least as an option) more information about the files. In a lot of cases the file name would be enough.
Seconds and voted. Specifically, it’d be nice to do “directors cut”, extended versions, and other things like that. So that the movies are listed as one, but then have individual titles and other options upon selection to play.
when it comes to actual editions / different cuts… you might want to vote for this feature request:
the current implementation solely focuses on managing different quality versions of the same video. that being said… I agree that it might be helpful to have some more details – maybe not the file name but at least some information on container, codecs. this should help to pick a version that will actually play (ideally without transcoding).
