I would love to see a play count on the media I watch, sort of like how itunes has a play count telling you how many times you have listened to a song from beginning to end. My kids watch a lot of the same movies over and over again so this would not only be interesting to see, but could be used as a sorting method so they could see all their favorites by play or (watch) count at the top.
While it would be great for plex to include it…
Until that happens take a look at PlexPy, it will do this for you and quite a bit more
Plex is not offering stats like that but there are external programs offering you all kind of stats like PlexPy
