Hi there,
I have been wondering if it is possible to add Features to the Plex App for controlling the Playback (especially for Playlists) in the following Ways. Scenario : I´m running the Plex Media Server and on the same Machine the Plex Media Player in TV-Mode. I connect with the Plex Android App to conveniently search through my Libraries and control the Playback. The following Functions are missing out for me or i havent been able to spot them.
1.) Choose Audio Track for currently playing Item : At the moment its only possible to choose the Audio Track in Advance for a single item. However, if i watch TV-Series (the whole Simpsons on Shuffle for example) i´d like to either set the preferred language in advance for all items to play or (more generic) to set/change it for the currently playing item (like its possible to activate the subtitles). Would love to see that in the “Settings” Area where Subtitle/Loudness Settings are located.
2.) Change Delay for the current Audio Track : I cant seem to find a Way to control the Delay of the current Audio Track but its a rather essential feature for me.
3.) Next Item in Playlist : At the Moment i can only see the Playlist with the next up Items and tap on one to change to the next Item. However, when watching Series its quite annoying to do so when you dont want to see the Outro but have to navigate to the Playlist View to skip to the next Episode. For me it should be located where the “Skip 30s” / “Pause” Buttons are. Another rather essential feature for controlling Media in my Opinion.
4.) Set Shuffle / Repeat : I would like to see a Button to change the current “Shuffle” and “Repeat” Settings for the current Playlist instead of opening the Remote Connection to navigate the OnScreen Player Controls for that.
5.)Show Info for current Item : Another Movie/Series Feature where i seem to can only find a unnecessary long way. If i start a Playlist (like the Simpsons example above) and i see the current playing item in the Android App, i have to go back (and not the Android Back Button but the Plex App Back Button) to the Series → Season → Item itself to see the Description. I´d love to get a Button (Tap or Long Press Feature) to get the “Info for current Item”.
6.) General Loudness Control: From VLC i know the Feature to set a maximum Audio Loudness. That Feature is nice for People like me with very heterogenous Libraries and in those different Loudness Tracks. Such a Feature would be great to set (via App or Server Settings) the maximum Loudness so differently encoded Media Files dont wake up your whole House 
7.) Endless Scrollable Playlist : If i look at the current Playlist i can only scroll down for a fixed number of Elements. I´d like to see that changed to endless, thus being able to scroll down the Playlist completely.
Edit : For all Requests posted here it would be great to have them on the Lockscreen too (or get App Settings to choose what to see on the Lockscreen).
