At this moment the android app will not let you go to a playlist and choose a song to download (sync) to your phone, however this is the only place a person should ever have to go to in order to do anything with their music.
However, currently a person has to navigate away from the Playlist…go to Music library and search for the song or album all over again, then choose Sync.
Then go back to the playlist… to play it alongside the other songs. holy frig that’s alot of navigation!
