Proposal

Enable users to create a MTV like experience by utilizing playlist. Currently, videos matched on Vevo cannot be added to play list, we can only watch videos one at a time which is disappointing. Enabling these videos to be added to play list will allow users to create an MTV like experience from their library.

**Proposed Changes I **- User manually creates MTV

Here the user chooses the individual songs they want to add to a playlist for video play back of their music library

Proposed Changes II - Automated Plex Music TV Mix

Here when you choose Plex Music TV Mix , the play list should be generated based only on the songs that have a video associated with them, but still use the algorithm to come up with a mix of songs related to the artist and or genre

Finally the playback should only include songs that have video

  • step 1 → implemented (local extras can be added to playlists)
  • step 2 → duplicate (music video view, play music videos if available)
