The explanation of the Multiple Users feature begins with “Create customized, managed accounts” on the official Plex website.
As I see it is not so customizable.
I miss the language settings like they are in the Server menu (“Automatically select audio and subtitle tracks in your preferred language when possible.”) and/or in Global App Settings in My Account menu on plex.tv page. ("These settings determine how Plex will try to select audio and subtitle tracks when playing media in a Plex app while using your account. ")
I would like to watch my TV shows with English audio and subtitle but my son (manager user) would like to watch the contents with Hungarian audio without subtitle. I have to change them one by one to Plex remember them.
As workaround I can register him as a new Plex user and change the settings as “Global App Settings” but then why has PlexPass the “Multiple User” feature?
When i select in global language my audio language, it’s don’t apply on multi user. Others users have English language only by default. In Global Language i select French but other user have english.
I think is a issue no?
this is a slap in the face of all non-english users … managed users should either use the language selection of the main account or have their own setting … but not defaul to english … plex, what a shame …
Default language selection for managed users, including Guest user account, is baaaaadly needed!
