I've already made a request for preferred network syncing but scheduled syncing at certain times would also be a more generic and better possibility. Would also likely be easier to implement. For example, i'd be at home, go to bed. Set Scheduled Sync for say 11pm. Plex app auto-syncs my stuff and then maybe shut downs server after the sync. Running my machine 24/7 for streaming is overkill having the ability to now sync content to my device.
