Totally support that. I don’t want somebody, who is making a request, trigger an update of all metadata in my huge music collection. Or deleting subtitles etc.
It should be quite easy to make this happen.
Otherwise the plugins/channels seems a little “single-user” to me, as a tool to the administrator, instead of a potentially great feature.
To Plex: Please make it. I am sure, that a lot of Plex-lovers will love You for it.
