Manage channels for home users?

I have Plex home set up and it’s relatively easy to create a library for little kids’ stuff, big kids’ stuff, shows my wife likes and ones that I love that just make her roll her eyes. But I haven’t found a way to manage channels to just provide the targeted ones for each user. I know that I can use content controls, but just because a channel doesn’t have an age restriction doesn’t mean that my 4 year-old will find it interesting. Am I missing this, or is there not a feature to show/hide channels based on who’s using it? We use IOS clients occasionally, but most of our watching is on a Roku (player or stick), with PMS on a Windows 10 desktop.

Also, even if I want to see all our channels when I’m in my admin account, is there a way to get my favorites at the start of the list? Alphabetical is fine as a starting point, but if I want YouTube it seems kind of pointless to have to scroll through everything before “Y” in the alphabet to get to it.

In short, no there is no way. Some channels can be hidden from everyone else except admin. Some channels can be restricted with PIN like SubZero but all that is plugin based. You can disable all channels from certain users but it’s all or nothing.
There is better way to manage them. It feels like channels have been abandoned by Plex long time ago, they are not being used to provide content but used by developers to provide new/more functions to PMS.
