I have no idea how to get my feature request into the hands of the Plex server developers, so I’ll post it here and hope that the good people of the forum can get me to where I need to be…
I would like to be able to send a message to all the users that can see my plex server - all my friends. Kind of like a service announcement - such as ‘Server will be unavailable for maintenance Wednesday, July 12th’.
I’d like to see this too. I also want to be able to send a direct message to my plex friends.

Here, or under the Plex Media Server section, in the forum for your particular OS, would be the best place without a Plex Pass.

This is a popular request, and is heavily discussed in the Plex Pass-only Feature Request Voting forum, so you’re not alone.
Yes, not sure a messaging system but at least a displayed pop-up at login with the admin message.
It would be interesting to alert people before a maintenance or changes in libraries.
