When you sort your music by album on the web version of Plex, it also lists the artist’s name above the album name directly underneath the art, which I’ve found to be huge when it comes to certain filtering techniques.
Often when I’m looking to listen to music on my iPhone, I’ll sort by 2016 albums or date added so I can listen to something new, but on iOS it will only show the art and the album name, which isn’t the most ideal way to browse, especially with new stuff that you might not instantly recognize by the artwork or the album name.
I’d love a feature that simply adds the artist name above or below the album name so you’ll easily know which artist made the album when browsing via that method.
I’ve attached a mockup of what I’m thinking. It seems simple enough and super helpful when browsing albums.
