I think it would be nice if PLEX could show when the next episodes in a series become available. Sincethis information is already available on (for example) thetvdb.com it could be (IMO - and I have no experience in this whatsoever) relatively easy to show a greyed out episode on the episode screen with a date.
This could also remove the enduser a step in getting new content (aka going to different websites to find out airdates).
this has been implemented in the DVR feature
There are also duplicate feature requests
