If you’re a parent these days its getting harder and harder to control what kid these days are doing online. I’ve been thinking it would be nice to be able to control what times are available to what users. We already can restrict who can see what libraries we have set up. Think about it. Your kid has multiple ways to watch your PMS server content at pretty much anytime. Why not be able to restrict them to say 7am to 9pm on school nights and unlimited on the weekends? I know that someone will say “Well, they can just log in as another user.” That’s true, unless everyone has a PIN number to access their stuff. No it’s not infallible. Kids these days will figure some way around it I’m sure or just use something else. But I think it would be worth a shot.
Yes, I know you can restrict internet usage with parental controls on devices and within your wireless networks. But why not do this thru the PMS also? Thoughts? Am I out here alone on my own on this one? lol
