I don’t generally dump my photos in a single folder. I would love to select specific photos and upload them to a specific directory that would either exist or I could create.
Agreed. When I debated using the Plex Camera Upload from my Android phone, I was shocked to see it was an “all or none” kind of feature. I had assumed that it would say “select which folder in your Device Storage you’d like to be automatically uploaded from” and I would make a new folder on my phone called “upload2plex” or something, and copy my favorite phone photos to that folder so that they could be shared later on.
Instead, Plex says “I’m going to upload every single photo you have.” I turned it off immediately. Half my photos are pictures of device serial numbers for work. Why would I want to upload those?
Plex, please let us select a folder (or folders) for the Camera Upload to upload from.
I have lots of random temporary photos. I don’t want them in plex.
