[Feature suggestion] Show played/unplayed tracks in the app

Hi,

The way I use Plexamp, I like to play random tracks from my entire library. Because of this, many of my albums have some unplayed tracks. When I “Go to album”, I would love to see played/unplayed tracks at a glance. Maybe a small dot to the left of the track number? Or a color code? Blue is played, white unplayed? Or maybe even the play count?

Thanks for all the good work, Plexamp is near perfect now in my opinion!

PS: I know that I can “Go to artist” and see recently played tracks there, but I would like to see per album. Thanks!

You can create a smart playlist of all unplayed tracks and simply browse that. Not exactly what you are looking for I guess but still it will work.

Hi,

Yes I already have a “unplayed” playlist, but that’s just a long list of thousands of tracks. I would like to see per album which tracks are played or not. Or even better: playcount. Thanks for your reply though!

Looks like you may get what you want.

I did see that thread but I don’t think we are asking for the same thing.

When I play a song (randomly from my ‘rotation’ playlist), I often like to “go to album” to see stuff like track number of the track I’m listening to, name of other tracks etc. Yes, I’m a discovering my library again, and Plexamp is helping me  Because I love stats, it would be cool to see stats (played/unplayed, playcount) right there in the album window.

It’s a cute idea, very :apple:-like (reminds me of unread emails in inbox)

:+1: :+1:
Hope to see it in future upgrades haha  :crossed_fingers:
Either in Plexamp or in the Plex web app!

If my wishes come true ;D
