Filter by Date Created?

I’ve seen discussions surrounding Date Added bugs. I’m experiencing something mildly similar. So, why not just have a Date Created filter too? I want to sort my library by the date the files were created, according to my operating system. Some of my files are years old, but in Plex it says they were made today. LOL!

Thanks to a corrupted drive that I replaced, my Plex library has to be completely recreated from scratch. After a month of hoping for a solution, this is the bullet I’m being forced to bite. And now nothing is in order of creation, only by title. That doesn’t do me much good.

Can y’all either fix this issue, or just add the thing I want? Please? Can you please make my life less tedious? Please?! I’d be eternally grateful. :sweat:

Normally, if you add the folder with the media files during the initial creation of the library, Plex is supposed to use the date of the files themselves as its “Added at” date.

What about if it’s not an initial creation? The first time I did it, it worked. The second time, not so much

This will only work the first time. So make sure to add all your old files at this time.

Or copy the database file from the old server to the new one.
