Request: ability to “filter” what goes into specific libraries.
Reason for request (sure there are many use cases): set up a filter such that for a photos library only allows jpgs are displayed such that if playing music simultaneously music won’t stop should a video be played as it’s in the same directory as all your photos. Incidentally when this happens music does not re-continue once photos continue to be displayed (at least on the latest Samsung TV Plex clients)!
Only way around this currently is to delete remove videos from same folders as photos (which I don’t want to do as in a different scenario would like to watch photos and videos at the same time unrelated to when music is playing) or to duplicate tens of thousands of photo files across different directories on disk to get a different library experience.
.plexignore will exclude all videos from all libraries, otherwise would have been an option if could exclude per library.
