Finally got some time to sit down and try and set up my plex

after a few months i thought id give it ago at setting up my own plex. Ive downloaded some bundles and add them to the plugin directory. im getting nothing when i reloadmy plex. Is there a dummies guide to this somebody can direct me to as im struggling at the moment and the 4 beers ive bought to drink whilst doing it may not be enough lol

When you say ‘when I reload my plex,’ are you restarting the Plex Media server, or just refreshing the browser? You need to kill the Plex Media Server and restart it after adding bundles.

Just waiting a little while is usually enough if we are talking about simple ‘channels’. No restart needed.

Yes, the official guide still mentions the restart. But it was written quite a while ago.

ok. kids are down now. ive logged out totally and back in and finnaly have an option saying channels. looks like were getting somewhere now
