Find album from ID

Every night my Plex server crashes, and the last log entry is the same
Scheduling loudness analysis for album 149628.

How can I find what album is 149628?

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6497
Player Version#:

Open the hosted web app
go to your music library
dive down into any album
click on the vertical ellipsis ā‹® at the right end of a music track
ā€œGet Infoā€
ā€œView XMLā€

Now inspect the address bar of your web browser.
You will see something like

https://172-29-0-1.a4e4f4c4b4aa443551727.plex.direct:32400/library/metadata/965747?checkFiles=1&includeAllConcerts=1&includeBandwidths=1&includeChapters=1&includeChildren=1&includeConcerts=1&includeExtras=1&includeFields=1&includeGeolocation=1&includeLoudnessRamps=1&includeMarkers=1&includeOnDeck=1&includePopularLeaves=1&includePreferences=1&includeRelated=1&includeRelatedCount=1&includeReviews=1&includeStations=1&X-Plex-Token=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Search for the question mark.
Immediately before the question mark, there is a number (in my example 965747)
Now replace this number with the ID from your error message.
Then press Enter to make the browser load this URL.

You should be able to identify the artist and album from the XML which is now shown.

(if you use the Safari web browser, you might have to use ā€œView Sourceā€)

Interesting, I got a 404 Not Found - which could explain why Plex is crashing when it tries to scan it. This feels like I may have to delete my music library and start again

Try first a database repair.

  1. activate debug logging (not ā€˜verbose’!)
  2. quit Plex Server
  3. wait 1 minute
  4. start Plex Server
  5. wait 5 minutes
  6. fetch log files and attach them here

Or inspect them yourself. Take a look at the Plex Media Server.log file and seek for messages about database corrupt or malformed.
If you find these, you may have to repair your database.

Plex Media Server Logs_2023-01-03_23-54-19.zip (118.8 KB)

I can’t find any entries for corrupt or malformed, but i have attached the logs anyway

The bug that we have and is causing the crashes would lead to 404s on the album ID
The database is ending up with a missing album entry - we are not sure how this is arising and if it is recent or old and is now triggering because we introduced additional scheduled actions for loudness

I will send you the 1.30.2.6492 alpha build - will send you both 32-bit and 64-bit and you can decide if you wish to switch to the new 64-bit build

This will stop the crashes. I would like you to send me zip of the database (through troubleshooting plex web page) to see how recently the tracks for the album with the issue were added and to also help you identify which tracks you need to recreate in the library

Thanks for sending the database - that was one of several albums with missing entries
I will reply to your PM giving the album names that should be removed and re-added
