I received my first spam to my Plex email address so was there a security breach or selling of email addresses? I have a separate email address that is only used for Plex, nowhere else.
Well, there was that one breach a few months ago, where we all had to (or were encouraged) to change our passwords. What is always compromised in these leaks is the email for the account, which cannot be encrypted or protected.

To be fair they’re also selling your info. Whenever they onboard a new vendor they force you to opt out of sharing your info with them. Which of course by the time you do that… “oops we already sold the info. We promise we won’t sell them any NEW information you give us.“
