You knew the buffering box was an issue in preview. Now its out and we have a box in the middle of our screens. You had a couple weeks to fix it.

I paid for a plex pass. Please fix your app.

  1. The Spring Update is not out to all users, it’s still only available for alpha and beta ring Insider members.

  2. The issue is not with our app but with a platform bug. It’s going to be fixed by Microsoft before a public release.

The solution for now is to unenroll your console from the Insider preview program.

“Note we implemented a workaround - we are waiting on PLEX to update the app” That dude runs the preview program, so he’s about as official as it gets.

i just updated in alpha ring its fixed i love how people cant be patient and make false claims

Confirmed working in Alpha ring. App launches different. Previously it looked like the app checked resolution while launching. Now it looks to be a fixed resolution on boot.

Also note that it was more of a “fix” from MS, until Plex updated their app. Did MS just lock Plex at 1080 or something? (not that I could get 4K to direct play anyways)
