Future of Plexamp on Raspberry Pi?

I’ve used headless Plexamp on 2 raspis for years before they suddenly stopped working a few months ago. Stupid me updated everything I could think of on the pis attempting to get it working again. Including upgrading from debian Buster to Bullseye.
Turns out that was a mistake since the workaround for the 2.0 beta of Plexamp for raspis does not work on Bullseye.

Using these commands in my pi gives me:

The NodeJS version is so outdated that I can’t install it on bullseye, which effectively rendered my 2 raspberry pi 4Bs, which I only bought for this purpose (including 2x HiFiBerry DAC+ Pro DACs) useless for now.
I mean I could have reverted to Buster and reinstalled everything, but doing so for a piece of software that was not updated since '19 seemed a foolish thing to do. I’m delighted that there’s a new version on the horizon tho.

Being able to turn off my PC, only letting the stereo and the raspi run, quickly selecting an album on my phone and then sitting back to read while even being able to turn off the wifi on my phone to prevent being disturbed was such a nice thing to do.

I’d love to be able to do it again.
