GBPVR Plugin - Based on MyPlexMedia - Set watched flag.....

Using Anthrax-Leprosy-Pi’s awesome c# code and some guidance from his MediaPortal plugin, I now have a rudimentary view of my plex system in a windows form. I intend (with Elan’s and Anthrax-Leprosy-Pi’s permission) to make a GBPVR/nPVR plugin to use the Plex Media Server as a backend.

One question, is it possible via http post to set the watched flag of a piece of media?

look here http://forums.plexapp.com/index.php/topic/30801-plex-client-for-windows-part-ii/page__p__199511#entry199511

Hi thanks for that. I need to play with it some more as I found that post of yours yesterday but couldn’t make it work.

Also you’ll see further on in that thread I query what the watches flag is. I’ve seen the view offset attribute be crated ad populated when partially through. And suspect it is the viewcount attribibute that I’m looking for.

When lookin at the raw XML for my library I didn’t have any viewcount attributes so was never able to see t.

Bit I’ve now purposely watched some items to the end I. The hope it’s populated.

In other news my plugin is (while crude at themoment) going.
