Hey all,
Just got my Plex servers and clients up and running. This part is all good and working like a charm. Next is trying to do some hacking with some simple python scripts to get the hang on this stuff 
I want to get notifications/attach to an event - that can notify me to run some python scripts when the video player (instance running on the mac connected to the TV) is starting, stopping and pausing.
Could anyone point me in the right direction? Also, where should i put the script? /Users/Livingroom/Library/Application Support/Plex/ ?
I’ve been searching for a day now. but either 1, the docs aint no good 2, what I need is really hidden in the docs 3, I suck at searching :unsure:

I second that. I would also like to catch events (media started / stopped / paused / continued) so I can turn on or off my receiver
