Could Plex please expand the option on where to use HW Transcoding and where not to. A simple check box option of :
For ALL available transcodes - (as is currently the only option.)
For Sync jobs ON/OFF
For Optomizer jobs ON/OFF
The reasoning is that HW transcoding is still not as good as Software transcoding. Whilst I am quite happy to use the HW transcoding performance for quickly syncing jobs to mobile devices, I’d much rather use software transcoding for actual TV viewing. Being able to choose to our tastes would be really preferable.
