So now that we’ll be able to voice control Chromecast video via Google Home for YouTube and Netflix, we’re definitely going to need support for Plex! :slight_smile:

Add me as another person who voted in the other Google Home threads and will vote in this one too. When I see features like Plex VR get announced, but there still isn’t Google Home support - it makes me wonder if the team at Plex need to prioritize a bit better.

I am incredibly close to just returning all of my smart home devices as both Google and Amazon have proven that they have no interest in fixing the never ending list of issues with their devices. And with companies like Plex ignoring users requests…it just makes me feel like not even third parties …

I emailed Plex support (as everyone in this thread should so they know how much we want this). Here are screenshots of the back and forth: [image] [image] [image]

+1 for Google Home support. Right now the only solution is Phlex which is not intuitive at all as far as installation goes. If it works with Alexa, how much harder can it be to make it work with Google Home?
