There are already some existing suggestions addressing most of what you describe.
GPU usage
Thanks for reading… a quick search didn’t return relevant results, I apologize if this has already been requested.
I love the extra details available now through the Dashboard! To be perfect (for me) it is only missing one metric: GPU/CPU Encoder / Decoder usage. This could be implemented as a split graph (L/R) for Encode / Decode, or as separate graphs… either way this seems useful to those of us taking advantage of hardware assistance for transcoding. I assume all (supported) platforms have …
Drive usage / DiskIO
With a powerful i7 and 32GB of ram, my system is not usually ever having an issue with anything except hard drive usage. I'd love to be able to see individual hard drive graphs like you get for the cpu and ram.
Hi,
It would be really handy for local drives that are attached to libraries to graph diskio for display on the dashboard. It would be nice to see how efficient my drives are when a few people are watching movies, scans occur, etc.
Thanks
Mark
More, e.g. CPU temperature
I’m not sure where else to post this, but i’d like to suggest that Plex add CPU temperature in the new Dashboard page.
This could be done by either a line graph, similar to the current CPU Utilisation graph. Alternatively a temperature value for the average CPU temperature over the last 2 minutes could be displayed at the bottom right corner of the current CPU Utilisation graph, where averages for Plex Media Server and System are displayed.
I like to know what the temperature of my CPU is in g…
Plex should already show network usage – though that’s only focusing on Plex’ own traffic/streaming.
I suggest you vote/comment in those existing threads.
If you feel the need to keep the NIC usage, let’s focus this suggestion on that particular feature.
