Guide Button on Harmony Remote for Android TV

Hi there,

Not sure if this has been discussed elsewhere.
My setup is:
Plex Server - Windows Computer
Plex FrontEnd - Android TV
Remote - Harmony

Is there a shortcut that will directly open the program guide? At the moment to open the cut you have to exit what you are watching and go through the menu.

Through harmony if I add Windows Computer and press the guide button it will load the Live TV plugin for Android TV but I am looking for something to use within Plex.

If there is a way to directly open the guide on Android TV I can add to to harmony (if not already there)

I am looking for this also. Seems like it should be a pretty simple thing to add a short cut for:

Guide = go to live tv guide.
Record = shortcut to record the show.
DVR = shortcut to recorded shows.

Makes it easier and more straight forward for people. If we get the keyboard commands then we can easily adjust our harmony remote to use the shortcuts.

Nobody has chimed in on this. Plex Live TV/DVR is about as clunky a user experience as it can be. These suggestions shout be at the top of the list with direct channel entry as well. The amout of “exits” and scrolling is ridiculous.

Discrete remote functions for the above listed items would be outstanding… It seems as the updates roll out it is taking several more remote clicks to get to the guide/DVR functions

Any update on discrete remote functions? I am using flirc+Harmony on my shield and have Kodi all mapped. I’d like to do the same with Plex.
