Hello I have the same issue on my 4K firestick. Please can you advise where you go to change the setting. I can’t find any setting to control the level
Of H264. Mine is forcing it to transcode since the update and saying it set to 1.0.
I found the setting at changed it to 5.0 which has resolved my issue.
Anyone who might be struggling to find out how you change it this is how.
Open Plex
Click on your name in the top left
Click settings
Scroll down to towards the bottom there will be a section with a sub heading called advanced
Click on the option called H264
Now change the level for your desired setting. Mine had defaulted to 1.0.

that’s not going to fix it. just revert back to 7.27 or earlier until it gets resolved.

Media with EAC3 audio is causing the video to transcode with the audio.
The previous issue with transcoding should have been fixed. Sounds like you have a different issue. Please start a new thread with details and your app logs.
