Hardware encoding not working on Ubuntu with nVidia Quadro P620

Hardware acceleration is enabled, and the ‘transcoding device’ is recognized by Plex as “GP107GL [Quadro P620]”, see screenshot attached:

put, Plex is not using the GPU for transcoding, no ‘hw’ text in the dashboard:

also nvidia-smi doesn’t show any Plex realted processes on the GPU:

according to Quadro - Wikipedia, this GPU is capable of doing transcoding

I wonder how I can make this work?

Direct-Stream == Remux ->> No video transcoding is occuring. Only the video container is changing.

What you’re showing is the 12 Mbps video is fully handled by chrome (with exception of the DASH container conversion) MKV file?

If you want a heavyweight video test, this will provide it.

Indeed, thank you, if I force transocoding on the client, it does hardware transcoding on the GPU.
