This channel (network) shows the end content of programs right up to the hour, then shows the ending credits of the finishing show in a box to the left and the beginning of the next show in a box to the right. On HDHomeRun tuners, this causes the last 14±3 seconds of a show to be chopped off a recording due to the buffering between the network tuner and the DVR. This can’t be fixed by adding an extra minute to the recordings because often the next program is also of interest, and it begins immediately. I have considered giving the clock a fixed offset with chronyd, but this might introduce problems with file sharing, since the box is also NAS host.
Would it be possible to either 1. add an offset (in seconds) to the tuner settings, or 2. get the time from the TV signal and apply the appropriate offset automatically?
