Headless Plex Amp Status?

Hi everyone,
Is there any news on a headless Plex Amp version for building a Raspberry Pi based Streamer?

I successfully installed the normal Plex Media Player + Shairport for AirPlay on a Pi which is working great so far but it is a bummer that it has to run a full desktop environment which is never seen and only consumes resources :confused:
