Been trying all night to get plexamp running as a service, but each time I start the service it wipes out the token file from the settings directory. Can run manually just fine. I’ve tried headless install directly on raspberry pi and as a docker container. Same results each time.
I’m afraid I can’t help with your specific issue but I can say that the Plexamp service in Ropieee is pretty bulletproof. Might be worth giving that a try if you can’t get your problem resolved. Good luck.
haven’t had or heard of this issue … is there a specific set of install instructions (or installer script) that you’re using? and are you starting with raspberry pi OS lite, or something else?
agree with above post, ropieee is great if you’re not going to use the pi for anything other than music streaming
