After having automatically been updated to 8.12 I’m experiencing the same issues. 4K/HDR/DV Remuxes are virtually unwatchable on my ATV 1st Gen. Constant stuttering, frame skips and losses.
Switching to old player erases DV playablility and still has minor stuttering every few seconds.
Even bought Plex Pass in hoping Hardware acceleration would solve problem - no such luck.
When will this problem be adressed and a new update released?
How can I go back to the previous build in the meantime?
