Help. Is Plex linux repository down? Can't update PC

I have Plex installed under Ubuntu. Works fine.

When I tried to update Ubuntu this morning, it kept failing. I tracked the problem to the following Third-Party software repository: downloads.plex.tv/repo/deb/

Disabling the repository allows my computer to update again. Is there something wrong with this Repository? Has the URL changed? Do I even need it if I install updates manually?

The repository seems fine here.

I would recommend:

  1. Manually remove the repository definition from /etc/apt
  2. sudo apt update (to make certain everything else is ok
  3. Manually install Plex again (will write the repo def for you)
  4. Go enable the repo
  5. sudo apt update (to pull the repo info)
