Help Moving Google Music Player Content

Hi

I am really new to this and honestly I am not a programmer in any way, basically if I know how to do something in software all is good, otherwise I spend alot of time on Google!

So I need help, I am looking to use Plex to replace Google media player as that will cease to be in the near future. For reasons I won’t go into all of my music is currently saved to Google only. (Although if I had the time and energy I could reupload some of it via CD)

So my question is how do I get all my music from Google’s servers onto Plex media server so I can then use the plax apps to play it wherever I am \ like I realise I will need a Plex pass to listen off line but I want to get there before I pay up.

Please help - I just want to listen to the music I have collected over the last 40+ years

You download them from Google to a folder on your hard drive. When you create a music library in Plex Media Server you tell it where that folder full of music is.

That sounds very easy, is it actually that simple to get the music out of Google? As you can’t locate the files on mobile devices ?

It is literally one button in settings ( well you need to tell where to download to after you press it) . Google Play Music is no longer available

Perfect thank you for your help
