Yep, yet another example where the Plex DVR makes it very hard or nearly impossible to do simple things. I know I’m just deluded here but I thought the purpose of a DVR was to record TV so that you could watch it later. But apparently, the purpose of a DVR is to enforce a huge set of complicated unreasonable rules/expectations and then just laugh at you when anything is out of place.

They’ve been talking about it for years, but they’ll never implement this feature.
We are gradually removing plex on all nas synology using the videostation and motion apps. Sure the channels aren’t sorted by lcn and rough epg guide, but at least it allows manual recording.
