I am not sure what your exact use case is for needing to run Plex as a service but if all your looking for is a way to ensure the media server is always up there is no need to rely on running this as a service. The easiest way to ensure your “Plex Media Server” is running at boot rather than having to login all you need to do is create a basic scheduled task to run as your primary user.
