You can find instructions online on how to sideload Android apps on HarmonyOS. But it’s harder on newer versions of HarmonyOS.

You’re out of luck then. Plex doesn’t support HarmonyOS.

Yes but since there’s no Google service there’s no Google Play Store. If you want to run Android apps you have to sideload. Plex doesn’t support HarmonyOS so you’ll never find it on Huawei app store no matter which version of HarmonyOS you’re on.
Yes, I’m not against to sideload apk, just hope get official version Apk. But I still want to suggest plex consider one billion harmonyOS users!
Have you looked in the Huawei app store. I thought it was available through that. At least it use to be.
That is impossible, huawei would not provide plex application by himself!
The Plex app was officially available on their store before.
