How to create a .plexapp file

Hi, this is probably a dumb question, but hopefully that means a simple answer.



I use raindancing’s awsome moviedb.org plugin for all my MMA (UFC, Pride, etc) stuff

Unfortunately it had a small bug in it (logging binary data) which I fixed with a simple one line change (comment out the Log).

So I am wondering how I can build a new .plexapp file which I could attatch to the above forum topic for other users.

.plexapp files are no longer a recommended means of distributing plugins/agents/etc. They only work on Mac OSX which tends to cause problems for the Windows and Linux users in the crowd. The best option is to distribute the .bundle file in a zip archive. Then users are responsible for installing themselves. Alternatively, you can add the plugin/agent to the Unsupported Appstore (check my sig for the link).
