How to diagnose crashing issues?

Server Version#: 4.87.2 (or 1.29.1.6316?)
Player Version#: 9.9.0.35519

PC is Windows 10, 9900k 3080ti

I have a Plex server running on my Windows PC and I want to watch content from my Sony A80J TV. I’ve been storing 1080p and 4K files on my PC and I’ve had a lot of crashes happen, usually 5-10 minutes into watching something. This happens while in Direct Play mode.

Most of the time, the content just stops playing, I get a black screen and then it returns to Plex. There’s no error message, and no indication as to what happened or how to solve it.

Any help would be very appreciated, I don’t know where to begin to try to sort this out.

Typically, they will ask for your server logs after you experience a crash

On Plex Web or Plex for Windows go to Settings –> Troubleshooting –> Download logs

Thanks, I’ve gone ahead and uploaded my logs. Those logs were pulled immediately after the crash… hope it helps
