How do you add users for a given library upon creation, say? Also, how to check which users have access to a given folder? Currently, I have to drill through each user to see what they have access to.
Right now the only way to add the users to a library that is created after the users were added is to go into each user and update their settings to share out the new library. You can’t go into a library and see who it is shared out with. Nor add users to it from the details on the library.
This is one of the most backwards systems in that regard. The library listings should have a place where you can also invite existing users. Or even have the ability to add new users for the specific library. We should be able to see who has access to a given library in that library details, as well as modify the person’s restrictions. Or even see what movies they have access to, from with a libraries details.
To take it a step further, we can’t even clone a given user’s restrictions easily. If you have a set of restrictions for a given user, you almost need two browser sessions open to see what they are, to clone those to another user.
Your question does bring up a valid Feature Request. And I’m not sure there is one in the system as of now. So rather than steal your fire, go for it. Make a Feature Request and you know you have at least one vote for it. (I LOVE the idea!)

Too many irons in the fire… Life’s had it’s issues lately and, well…
Yes, there is a feature request. To add your vote to it, just hit “Like” on the first post.
