I'm evaluatiing creating a plex plugin for Japanese Media Manager (My Anime 3)

There is a lot of examples of playing http web files in the channel development,

 

how do you publish a local Media? (Like the TV Series/Movies Sections)

 

Example: C:\videos\baby.mpg

 

Also, is there a way to receive ratings and watch status from client into the channel code?
