Use the hosted web app as default for such administrative tasks
You can flip the “watched” flag on a whole season or even on a whole show. Just go to the appropriate preplay page of the show or the season.

If you want to flip it on several episodes within one season, use multi-selection [HowTo] Selecting multiple items for edit, playlist, etc.
