"Mark All Previous Episodes Played" button:
Basically you would choose an episode, right click it, hit the button, and every previous episode in the series would be marked as played.
I’ve been using Plex for a long time on many different devices, for different reasons I will often see episodes I have watched completely show up on “Continue Watching”, and be only partially played. This seems like an issue that’s hard to work around for any content managing service, even Netflix. The addition of this button would provide a broad work-around to this problem.
How I manage currently:
I go through every season with these partially completed episodes, mark it as unplayed, and then mark it as played.
Reasons episodes get marked as partially played, if you wanted to know:
I use an external player to play some episodes on mobile when the plex player won’t work for the video format, (playing videos with external player can’t save episode played state).
On the Windows Plex Player, if are watching an episode, switch players, and then come back to windows, that episode state will be saved on the bottom of the plex player, ready to resume, and closing that will overwrite that episode’s played status.
