If I have a TV show set up to auto download the next 5 episodes, but only 4 episodes download before I disconnect from the wifi, how can I view the downloaded episodes. The downloads screen just shows “1 item could not be downloaded. Swipe to remove or tap to retry”. I would prefer to be able to view one of the downloaded episodes.
Not sure if playing from the TV menu will play the downloaded content in preference to streaming, but I lose the data connection sometimes on my commute and at that point I can’t browse via the TV menu.
Press and hold on the show title in Downloads does give an option to “Play”, but I’d prefer to be able to see all the downloaded episodes and select which one to play. Probably less of an issue for shows you have to watch in order, but it’s frustrating for non-sequential shows like talk shows or other more standalone shows where I might feel like watching a specific episode.
