I am using iRule with plex, via HTTP Controls.. I am wondering how can I send a command to take it to Movies, Or TV Shows directly.. The Selection instead of browsing.. Is there an HTTP Command for that?
Also the Stop command doesnt work like stop, it takes it to the main section.. Anyone has an update on this?
No. Currently there's very little integration possible with Plex beyond blindly sending it navigational keystrokes and hoping.
I think the only way you can get that kind of behavior is to simulate user input with a series of navigational button pushes and check the changes in the GUI state via the XBMC HTTP/JSON interface, and even that would be finicky because there's no way to determine which item is selected on-screen without activating it.
