https://www.plex.tv - Log out or switch user

Hello,

Can someone explain to me the difference between the two.

  1. Go to https://www.plex.tv/
  2. Click SIGN IN
  3. Type your username and password.
  4. Click LAUNCH
    Now I have manage users so I go to the select user screen. I can select any one of them to access my libraries BUT will select the ADMIN account because the additional signout feature. (Switch User and Sign Out).

My problem is the Sign Out does not work. When I select it I go back to the select user screen. Why? Should it not log/sign me out completely?
I always have to re-type in https://www.plex.tv at the address bar then click MY ACCOUNT -> Sign Out.
Most annoying… Why do I have to go thru hoops to sign out completely?

EDIT: damn… Wasnt thinking when I made the post here… This may not be in the best section of the forum.

To access the PMS web interface directly use plex.tv/web

Not sure what your goal in logging out is though

Thanks for the reply. My goal is to be completely sign out of my account.
Remember, I must first sign in to my account before I can use plex.tv/web. I always log out of all my accounts when I am done. Habit from the old days of sharing computers BUT still good practice for security reasons… If I am done watching plex then I should be able to sign out(completely)… After all there is an option for it…

Do any of the PlexPass members with managed accounts and PIN have this issue?

Okay, never mind. Problem fixed!

It seems to be an issue with my current version of Firefox and the add-on extensions I have installed…
