I’ve got plenty of 4k HDR HEVC remuxes, I know you shouldn’t transcode 4k hdr as it washes out ecc., but I would like to do that sometime. The thing is: I added a p2000 to my i5 4440, and it’s not working, it buffers every 30 second. The cpu usage is 40% but the GPU doens’t seem to like that video f…

Don’t know if anything changed… Updated to latest version. I can transcode 1-2 4K -> 1080P streams as long as subtitles aren’t on. Previously it seemed to struggle with just playing 1 with no subtitles. With subtitles on can’t keep up… Anymore movement?

From my experience, there appear to be several potential issues. I have an older GTX 970 and a P2000 in my Windows 10 machine. Windows Media Player* is able to play back 4k HEVC HDR content without an issue using software decode. Windows Media Player never has to buffer or wait for the decoder to…

I haven’t seen an improvement here… still hovering around 0.7x-0.9x EDIT: Version 1.16.5.1488 Windows

Thank you, today afternoon I will definitely make some tests.

I’ve noticed already a big improvement. I will keep testing tomorrow with more devices, but for being a beta forum release I’m very happy for now about it. (win 10 + p2000)

I’m using 436.02 with HEVC hw decoding of 4k HDR streams. For me, HW decoding only works when there’s a display plugged into the Quadro. In addition, I have to extend the display to the second GPU as well. To make it a bit less likely for random things to show up there, I set Quadro to 800x600 and …
