Is there any word yet on when the new PMS will be released that fixes the 9th generation Intel ()iHD) problem?
No. I am watching the development. It has a few sharp edges in certain cases.
When they’re ready (most edges smoothed to some degree), I expect a forum preview just like we saw for the initial offering.
I don’t see i5 9600k/iHD hardware support under linux listed in this preview. Any news regarding this combination?
Think its a general transcoder update for the newest generation of Intel CPU’s. Anyway, tested on my test docker container server and hw transcoding works on my i9 9900K, will test some more this week but looks promising.

Regarding the above how long does it usually take for these to make it to beta and final versions. From my understanding these are experimental versions?

Thanks ! That fix the issue for me. It use the hardware transcoding with the new (i7-9700) Intel CPU !
